Prepaid plans

Vipnet

You can buy a Micro SIM prepaid package (data only) for HRK 50 (8.5 $) including 1GB of data. After that is used, you can buy prepaid vouchers to top up.

You can also buy a bundle including an usb modem and a prepaid simcard at HRK 199 (35 $) including 100MB of data. You can top up with one of the following flatrate options:

  • Option 100MB: HRK 15 - 2.5 $
  • Option 500MB: HRK 50 - 8.5 $
  • Option 1GB: HRK 70 - 12 $
  • Option Unlimited for 24hrs: HRK 10 - 1.5 $ (Speed is decreased after 1GB, Option renews automatically with every internet access the next day)

Every Option lasts for 30 days. MB that you do not spend within these 30 days can be used if you buy a new Option before 30 days expiry. In that case, the remaining MB will be added to new MB you bought, and you can use them within next 30 days.

Where to buy

Can be bought in many post offices and all VIPnet shops. Prepaid vouchers (for extending data options) can be bought in paper shops, gas stations, super markets etc.

Simpa Internet

There are 2 internet packages called Simpa Internet with a prepaid data-only card.

You can buy a SIM-card only for 50 HRK ($6.7) with a 50 MB of data traffic included, or the same SIM-card together with a modem web'n'walk USB stick - for 148 HRK ($29).

A new SIM-card is valid for a 3 months starting from the moment of the first connection. You can top up your Simpa-Internet account at any time by buying a normal Simpa voucher (for voice calls) or in the electronic way (ATM or On-line Shop).

Monthly Simpa Internet options:

  • S --> 100 MB for 10 kn/ 1.5$
  • M --> 250 MB for 20 kn/ 3.0$
  • L --> 1 GB for 50 kn/ 6.7$
  • XL --> 2 GB for 75 kn/ 10$

Data packages are valid for 30 days after activation.

There's no flat rate tariff, but data is calculated at a cheaper rate compared to the normal voice tariffs: HRK 1.00/MB - $ 0.19/MB. You can use the card also for messaging (same rates as 'Plan') and for data on international roaming at HRK 6.00/100KB - $ 1.16/100KB.

How to activate

To activate, send an SMS with a text "A" to 3636. An SMS with a list of options will be sent to your mobile. Send the number related to chosen Web'n'walk option as an SMS to 3636 again. Another SMS will be sent to you and should be replied with "DA". You can check the amount of transfered data by sending SMS "mb" on 0330.

How to top up

You can top up your Simpa Internet account at any time by buying a Simpa voucher or a Simpa e-voucher of various amounts and validity periods:

  • 100 HRK/ 19$ is 180 days valid,
  • 50 HRK/ 10$ is 90 days valid.

Electronic top ups are possible also: 25, 50, 100, 200 HRK. After a validity period expires, you have 270 days to top up your Simpa Internet account and use this service again.

You can check the balance and expiration date of your Simpa Internet account by entering the USSD code *100# , or sending empty SMS on 0330.
