How to change the APN setting on your International Mobile Data SIM card


Keepgo Lifetime Data SIM

1. Select the SIM that fits your mobile phone from the SIM holder

2. Power your mobile device off and insert the SIM you selected

3. Update the APN settings on your mobile device for your Internet to work


 APN Name: internet.keepgo.com
 Username: leave blank 
 Passowrd: leave blank 


Alternatively, you may download the Keepgo App in order to set up the APN automatically


WorldSIM

1. All handsets are a bit different so the name of menus and settings will vary. Find the settings on your phone and navigate to the networks / connections menu.

2. Within the options should be ‘Mobile Networks’ you then need to find the option for ‘Access point Names’. It may also be referred to as ‘APN’.

3. Create a new APN. Set the Name as 'worldsim' and the APN as 'mobiledata'. Leave all the other fields blank. Need help finding this is your phone menu?

Remember: If you change your location profile you may need to reset your data connection by following these steps again. You will need credit to be able to use data, top up or check your balance.


GigSky

1.Turn off the iPhone

2.Swap out your carrier SIM card for your GigSky SIM card

3.Turn on the iPhone

4.Connect to a Wi-Fi network

5.Open the GigSky app, and log in to your GigSky account

6.Install the iOS APN configuration file

7.Go to the GigSky App Menu > Support > Search “Setting the APN”

8.In the article “Setting the APN on an Apple iOS device” (this article), tap the gigsky.mobileconfig link

9.Tap Install, enter Passcode (if prompted), and tap Install

10.Turn on Data Roaming: Settings > Cellular (Mobile) Data > Data Roaming

OneSimCard

There are two ways to program your mobile phone:

1. Remote Programming - Recommended

a. Click the Program Your Phone Remotely link from the My SIM Cards menu. A new window will open.

b. Follow instructions on the screen. Once complete click the Get settings button.

An SMS message with data programming instructions will be sent to your

phone.

Your phone will receive two (2) SMS messages:

- The first SMS contains a PIN. Please make a note of it.

- The second SMS contains the program itself.

c. On your phone, click View SMS when the second message is received.

d. When prompted, enter the PIN.

e. You will be prompted to answer a few questions that you should reply to affirmatively.

You should now have access to OneSimCard Internet Data service.

NOTE: Not all phones can be programmed remotely. If the SMS message says that your phone's GPRS can't be programmed this way, then you can program your phone manually by following phone's user guide.

2. Manual Programming

a. Go to the GPRS settings menu on your phone.

b. Create a new GPRS account:

  Name: 'onesim'
  APN or Address: 'send.ee'
  Username: Your SIM number - '372XXXXXXXX'
  Password: Leave it blank

c. Go to the WAP settings menu on the phone.

Programming Phone to Work with Internet Data


d. Create a new WAP account:

  Name: 'onesim'
  GPRS Account: 'onesim' (on some phones called Internet Account)
  IP Address: '217.71.32.236'
  Port (if requested): '8080'

NOTE: Internet Data service programming is phone-specific, rather than SIM specific. If you move your SIM to another mobile handset, you will need to program it again.


GoSIM

Android

1.Select 'Settings'

2.Select 'Wireless and network'

3.Select 'Mobile networks'

4.Select 'Access Point Names'

5.Press or Tap 'Menu'

6.Select 'New APN'

7.Enter the Name as 'ekit' and the APN as 'mobiledata'. Leave the username/password fields blank.

8.Press or Tap 'Menu'

9.Select 'Save'

10.Ensure ekit is selected as the preferred APN.

11.Launch Browser.


iPhone

1.Tap 'Settings'

2.Tap 'General'

3.Tap 'Cellular'

4.Tap 'Cellular Data Network'

5.Enter the Cellular Data APN as 'mobiledata'. Leave the username/password fields blank.

6.Launch Browser


Telestial

iPhone

1.Tap 'Settings'

2.Tap 'General'

3.Tap 'Cellular'

4.Tap 'Cellular Data Network'

5.Enter the Cellular Data APN as 'mobiledata'. Leave the username/password fields blank.

6.Launch Browser

Android

1.Menu

2.Settings

3.Browser Settings

4.Profile Settings

5.Select a spare Profile

6.Enter a profile name (Internet, etc)

7.Enter Home URL (http://google.com)

8.Make sure Bearer is set to "GPRS only"

9.Select "GPRS settings"

10.Enter APN as "mobiledata"

11.In options Save

12.In the profile settings, Save

13.Return to main menu and select Browser

14.Select Home (to launch)


Globalgig

iOS/Apple Devices

1. Select Mobile Data in the Settings

2. Slide Mobile Data to the ON position – Select Mobile Data Options

3. Turn Data Roaming to the ON position – Select Mobile Data Network

4. Set the APN under Mobile Data and MMS to mbb.mobi-data.com

You can leave all other fields as they are. If connection issues persist, please switch your device on and off again, and double check your APN and mobile data roaming settings.

Android Devices

1. Go to Settings and scroll to Network connections and select More networks

2. Select Mobile Networks

3. Ensure the Mobile data box is ticked. To set the APN select Access Point Names

4. Select the plus sign to add a new APN

5. Set Name: Globalgig Set APN: mbb.mobi-data.com Leave all other settings blank Tap the Three dots in the right-hand corner and tap Save

6. Select the Globalgig profile just created You can leave all other fields as they are You will now be able to connect

Transatel

1.Your device must not be carrier locked. Make sure you detach the SIM card at the format corresponding to your device.

2.Configure your APN settings (Access Point Name) as follows:

 Name and APN = mobiledata 
 All other fields should be left empty

3.Activate data roaming in your settings


Simtravel

1.APN (Access Point): send.ee

 User name (Username): SIM-card number in the format 37251234567
 Password (Password): leave blank

2.Configured as a modem:

Insert to SMTP mail server to register: gprsmail.send.ee


eKit

Android

1.Select 'Settings'

2.Select 'Wireless and network'

3.Select 'Mobile networks'

4.Select 'Access Point Names'

5.Press or Tap 'Menu'

6.Select 'New APN'

7.Enter the Name as 'ekit' and the APN as 'mobiledata'. Leave the username/password fields blank.

8.Press or Tap 'Menu'

9.Select 'Save'

10.Ensure ekit is selected as the preferred APN.

11.Launch Browser.


iPhone

1.Tap 'Settings'

2.Tap 'General'

3.Tap 'Cellular'

4.Tap 'Cellular Data Network'

5.Enter the Cellular Data APN as 'mobiledata'. Leave the username/password fields blank.

6.Launch Browser


MaxRoam

1.Maxroam Mobile General APN Settings:

 APN: maxroam.com
 Username: maxroam
 Password: maxroam


2.Maxroam APN Settings for iPhone / iPad:


Go to Settings > General > Network > Mobile Data Network > APN and enter the following details Cellular Data:

 APN: maxroam.com
 Username: maxroam
 Password: maxroam
 MMS:
 APN: maxroam.com
 Username: Blank
 Password: Blank
 MMSC: Blank
 MMS Proxy: Blank
 MMS Message Size: Blank
 MMS UA Prof URL: blank


3.Maxroam APN Settings for Android:


Go to Menu -> Settings -> Wireless & networks-> Mobile networks -> Access Point Names -> New APN and key the following details

 Name: Maxroam
 APN: maxroam.com
 Proxy: < Not Set >
 Port: < Not Set >
 Username: maxroam
 Password: maxroam
 Server: < Not Set >
 MMSC: < Not Set >
 MMS Proxy: < Not Set >
 MMS Port: < Not Set >
 MMS Protocol: < Not Set >
 MCC: < Not Set >
 MNC: < Not Set >
 APN Type: < Not Set >


Simcardglobal

1.Simcardglobal APN Settings for iPhone / iPad:


Go to Settings > General > Network > Mobile Data Network > APN and enter the following details Cellular Data:

 APN: globaldata
 Username: leave blank
 Password: leave blank


2.Simcardglobal APN Settings for Android:


Go to Menu -> Settings -> Wireless & networks-> Mobile networks -> Access Point Names -> New APN and key the following details

 APN: globaldata
 Username: leave blank
 Password: leave blank


Roam Mobility

Andrtoid

1.Insert the Roam SIM in to phone

2.Select Settings

3.Select More... under Wireless and Networks

4.Select Mobile Networks (or Cellular Networks in Lollipop 5.0)

5.Select Access Point Names

- Press Menu

- Press New APN or + symbol

- In the new APN screen, enter these settings

   Name: wholesale
   APN: wholesale
   Username & Password: leave blank
   MMSC: http://wholesale.mmsmvno.com/mms/wapenc
   MCC: 310
   MNC: 260

6.Press Menu and Save

7.Ensure the new Wholesale APN is selected

8.Restart your phone


iOS

1.Insert the Roam SIM into phone

2.Select Settings

3.Select Cellular

4.Select Cellular Data Network

5.Under the Cellular Data section change the APN to the word wholesale (Username & Password blank)

6.Under the MMS section enter the word wholesale in the APN field and the following address under MMSC:

   http://wholesale.mmsmvno.com/mms/wapenc

7.Save the settings by going back to the last menu and restart your phone

Note: If your iOS device APN defaults to the word ALPHA, you will be still be able to use data, but you may need to change it back to the word wholesale if you want to use MMS.


Settings will differ from model to model. Please see you handset manual for the same.


TalkMore World Travel SIM

While using Data in Android phone typical setting as below.


1.Scroll to and select "Settings" and scroll to and select "Mobile network".

2.Select "Packet Data ".Check Yes

3.Data Roaming Check Yes

4.Press the Access Names & select mobile Data.

5.If Mobile data is not one of APN , Click Menu

6.Create New APN. APN name & APN is mobile data.

7.Leave user Name and Password blank & Save


I Phone Settings


1.Scroll to and select "Settings" and scroll to and select "General". Than Select cellular

2.Cellular Data Network and enter APN Name mobiledata

3.Select "Packet Data ".Check Yes

4.Data Roaming Check Yes

5.Leave user Name and Password blank & Save


US Mobile

Please note: As of 24th August 2017. US Mobile says it does not support International Roaming. (www.usmobile.com/plans)

Android

1.Pull down the notifications screen & tap on Settings

2.Tap on Mobile Data (some phones say “More”)

3.Tap Mobile Networks (some phones have “Access Point Names” here)

4.Tap Access Point Names

5.Press the menu button

6.Select New APN

Name: US Mobile

APN: pwg

Proxy:

Port:

Username:

Password:

Server:

APN Type: Admin,Default,MMS,Supl

MMSC: http://pwg.mmsmvno.com/mms/wapenc

MMS Proxy:

MMS Port:

MCC: 310

MNC: 260

7.Select Menu and Save

8.Go back one screen to the APN list and tap to Enable the PWG Mobile APN

9.Restart phone & you’re good to go!


iOS

1.Go to Settings, tap on WiFi and temporarily turn it OFF

2.Back in Settings, scroll down to Messages and tap to open it. Make sure MMS is OFF

3.Go back to Settings, tap on General and then Cellular

4.Make sure Enable 3G is OFF & Data Roaming is ON

5.Scroll down & tap on “Cellular Data Network”

6.Under “Cellular Data Network” put in the following:

Cellular Data APN: pwg

MMS APN: pwg

MMSC: http://pwg.mmsmvno.com/mms/wapenc

MMS Max Message Size: 1048576

MMS UA Prof URL: http://www.apple.com/mms/uaprof.rdf

Leave all other fields blank

7.Click on the Home button to go back to the main phone screen

8.Go back to “Settings” one more time, scroll down and tap on “Messages” and turn it ON

9.Press the Home button and you’re set to send & receive MMS on PWG

10.Once you’ve tested to see that it works, you can re-enable WiFi, turn off Data Roaming and turn on 3G
